Mile Novaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Миле Новаковић; 29 April 1950 – 14 September 2015) was a Serb major general active in the military of Serbian Krajina and in the Federal Yugoslav Army, during and after the Croatian War of Independence. 〔(Mile Novaković profile ), Croatian Ministry of the Interior website]; accessed 3 October 2015.〕 He was tried in absentia by a Croatian court in 1995 for war crimes, being sentenced to 20 years in jail.
